Minister Wenger to table the Municipal Economic Review and Outlook 2023/24

On Thursday, 23 November 2023, provincial Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities, Mireille Wenger, will table the Municipal Economic Review and Outlook 2023/24 (MERO) in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.

The MERO provides a wealth of invaluable data on each of the five district municipalities and one metropolitan municipality, as well as each and every one of our 24 local municipalities in the province, to guide our evidence-based approach to the opportunities that we can nurture, so we can deliver a better future, creating many more jobs and, with those jobs, hope for our residents.
