The IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management (IIEHSM) has eight courses from which to choose a career path in the hospitality industry which opens diverse opportunities around the globe.

Studying at a hospitality school provides a comprehensive skillset in customer service, communication, leadership and adaptability, making graduates well-suited for a diverse range of careers within the hospitality and service industries, while also developing transferable soft skills valuable in many other sectors.

One of the courses available at IIEHSM – the Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Management – equips learners with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes necessary to manage and lead hospitality departments and small establishments effectively within the complex and highly competitive hospitality environment.

The IIE Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Management opens up a world of opportunities developing confidence, professionalism and business expertise. It affords students the opportunity to follow their interests and passion globally, with the skills and mindset, to create exceptional experiences and be able to run and operate a business at any level.

It is offered as a full-time one year course at the IIEHSM campuses in Johannesburg and Cape Town. It can also be done online over two to three years.
