Enjoy Team Building Adventures at Cape Canopy Tour

Soar to new heights, together!

Tired of doing the same old corporate team building events, over and over again – those humdrum offerings of tug-of-war or paintballing games? Then it’s time to try the Cape Canopy Tour’s unforgettable Team Building with a difference Adventure!

Tony D, a business client had this to say, “Fantastic location, beautiful mountain scenery and the best team-building experience we have ever had. Largely because we were reassured by the professional and safety-conscious guides on the zip lines, but also because of their enthusiasm and sense of humour. Even those  who were previously scared of heights had a fantastic experience and we all plan to return in the future. One of my best days ever in South Africa!”

Cape Canopy Tour, an award-winning Adventure Activity that ticks all the boxes is located near Grabouw in the Elgin Valley of the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve.

Described by Lonely Planet as “vertigo-tinged fun” and “an exciting aerial perspective” Cape Canopy Tour offers innovative team-building exercises for schools, groups of friends, families or companies the chance to enjoy breathtaking aerial views of a previously inaccessible part of this pristine World Heritage site. This is to test their limits by ziplining (an exhilarating group activity that strengthens bonds and improves trust) high up in the mountains, 1 000m above sea level.

From a 4 x 4 journey through the nature reserve to soaring through the air on 11 thrilling slides on the cliffs of mountain slopes above the Riviersonderend Gorge it is perfect for team building programmes and/or business conferences. It is where you can take team building to the next level.

Nothing improves communication quite like sharing a challenging, new experience and Cape Canopy Tour’s team building options, with varying levels of difficulty and physical and mental endurance limits that challenge the participants, are guaranteed to boost morale, forge connections and improve self-confidence. Everyone, from the CEO to the office manager, to the IT guy, to the intern and not forgetting the tea-lady, all will enjoy the unique thrill of ziplining in one of Southern Africa’s most pristine wilderness areas in the company of soaring eagles, and a big plus – it’s only an hour’s drive from Cape Town.

A member of Cape Country Routes, Cape Canopy Tour is arguably one of its most adventurous activity experiences. Established in 2014 by Ryan Larkman as a partnership between the Cape Canopy Tour franchise and CapeNature, it was, after only a year of operation, named the winner of the category ‘Best Emerging Tourism Business’ by the Western Cape Premier’s Recognition Awards (PERA) and also claimed second place as a ‘best new activity in the world’ in Lonely Planet’s ‘New In Travel’ mini guide – the only African ‘experience’ to make the list.

“Join us, you won’t regret it. Zipping past waterfalls and soaring through the air you’ll get to experience one of the Cape’s most epic mountain-top zipline experiences,” says Larkman.
