Arnelle Kendall International Announces New Client Partnership with Uganda’s Nkuringo Safaris
Arnelle Kendall International, a Palm Beach-based public relations and communications firm specializing in travel, tourism and hospitality, has announced its new partnership with Nkuringo Safaris, a Ugandan-owned, woman-led safari and hospitality company known for private journeys focused on gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, wildlife, walking and locally hosted experiences.
The partnership will introduce Nkuringo Safaris and its founder and CEO, Lydia Eva Mpanga, to a broader North American travel media audience as the company continues to build awareness of Uganda as a destination for private, experience-led travel.
Founded in 2007, Nkuringo has developed from its roots in southern Bwindi into a company that combines safari planning, hospitality and community conservation. Today, Nkuringo Safaris operates alongside Nkuringo Eco Collection, which owns and manages three properties in Uganda: Papyrus Guesthouse in Entebbe, Mirima Kibale Lodge near Kibale National Park and Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge in southern Bwindi.
The company specializes in privately planned safaris that can bring together Uganda’s forests, primates, wildlife and landscapes. Its programs include gorilla trekking in Bwindi, chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, wildlife safaris, walking and birding, as well as longer journeys combining several regions of Uganda and selected East African destinations.
At the center of the company is Lydia Eva Mpanga, who co-founded Nkuringo in 2007 and today leads the business as CEO. A Ugandan entrepreneur and advocate for locally owned tourism, Mpanga has guided the company’s development while maintaining its focus on private travel, local expertise, hospitality and community engagement.
“Nkuringo represents the kind of locally led tourism story that deserves greater attention in the North American market,” said Arnelle Kendall International. “Lydia has built a company that is deeply connected to Uganda, its people, its landscapes and its wildlife. We look forward to introducing both her story and the breadth of what Nkuringo offers to travel media and travelers seeking a different perspective on East Africa.”
The partnership will focus on media relations, storytelling and awareness-building around Nkuringo’s safari experiences, its three properties and Lydia’s perspective as a woman leading a Ugandan-owned tourism company.
A subsequent media announcement will explore Lydia’s personal journey, the evolution of Nkuringo and the role that locally owned tourism can play in shaping the future of travel in Uganda.
