Namibia to Host “NamibiaNow” Cocktail Networking Reception at Meetings Africa 2026

As part of its official programme at Meetings Africa 2026, the Namibia Tourism Board will host the “NamibiaNow” Cocktail Networking Reception on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, from 18:00–20:30 at the Sandton Sun Business Centre.


The event forms part of Namibia’s broader #NamibiaNow campaign and is designed to engage approximately 80 MICE professionals, travel trade partners and international buyers in an immersive Namibian-themed setting.


The networking reception will feature:
•Namibian cuisine and curated tasting experiences
•Cultural elements and traditional attire
•Direct engagement with Namibia’s MICE industry stakeholders
•A prize-giveaway competition to enhance destination visibility


The NamibiaNow platform is officially integrated into the Meetings Africa programme and serves as a strategic engagement platform to deepen partnerships and elevate Namibia’s brand equity within the global business-events market


The NamibiaNow Cocktail Reception allows NTB to present Namibia not only as a destination, but as an experience. We are creating meaningful connections with global buyers in an authentic Namibian environment that reflects our culture, hospitality and professional excellence.

About the Namibia Tourism Board (NTB)
