Cradle Boutique Hotel: Music In The Jungle
MZANSI music lovers are in for a wild time when some of the country’s biggest stars descend on the Cradle of Humankind for Music in the Jungle on Saturday, 17 October 2026.
The outdoor music experience will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cradle Boutique Hotel, with a heavyweight line-up featuring Sjava, Kabza De Small, Focalistic, Mörda, Langa Mavuso, Thatohatsi, Thando Zide, Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holworthy.
But this is no ordinary music festival.
Set inside the spectacular 9 000-hectare Cradle Nature Reserve, the event promises to take revelers away from the city and into the wild, where music, nature and culture will meet.
Organisers said fans can expect everything from hip-hop, amapiano, Afro-house, R&B, soul and contemporary African sounds.
The day will reportedly start on a more relaxed note before turning up the heat as the sun goes down and the evening atmosphere prevails.
And with such a diverse line-up, there should be something for everyone.
The event also marks a major milestone for the Cradle Boutique Hotel, which has spent a decade welcoming visitors to the area and creating experiences around the natural beauty of the Cradle of Humankind.
General Manager Wayne Fisher said the celebration was designed to reflect what makes the destination special.
“Music in the Jungle is a special way for us to celebrate 10 incredible years of the Cradle Boutique Hotel,” said Fisher.
“We wanted to create an experience that reflects what makes our destination so unique, bringing people together, through great music, exceptional hospitality and the beauty of the Cradle of Humankind.”
For music lovers looking for something different, the combination of live performances and a massive natural setting could make this one to remember.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome guests for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration,” he said.
Revellers have also been urged to dress for the occasion.
“Guests are encouraged to come dressed for the jungle and prepare for a full day of entertainment, food, music and celebration.”
