Egypt Improves Efforts for Tourism and Civil Aviation to Maximise Potential

President El-Sisi gave directives to continue working to improve Egypt’s tourism experience in all aspects
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Civil Aviation Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Mr. Ahmed Issa, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly, Chairman and CEO of Egyptair Holdings Major General Yehia Zakaria and the company’s financial officer Mr. Loay Abdel Hamid.

Counsellor Ahmed Fahmy, the Spokesman for the Presidency, said the meeting reviewed civil aviation and tourism projects. Efforts to develop the civil aviation sector and promote Egypt’s tourism attractions were presented so as to increase revenues from tourism and contribute to sustainable development.

President El-Sisi gave directives to continue improving Egypt’s tourism experience in all aspects, including the enhancement of integration of the tourism and aviation sectors in a way that maximises the added value of Egypt’s unique tourism and cultural potential. This is in addition to increasing the utilisation of the infrastructure of airports, hotels and tourist destinations built and modernised throughout the country over the past years within an integrated and comprehensive development framework.
