East African Tour Operator chooses The Perfections Group for European Trade Representation trade relations partner for East African tour operator

Specialist East African tour operator, Jungle Dwellers, has entrusted its sales, marketing and representation in the United Kingdom to The Perfections Group.

The Perfections Group will provide on-the ground-representation for Jungle Dwellers in the UK to strengthen travel trade ties and bolster the flow of leisure, sports tour and wellness travellers from Europe to East Africa.

This includes championing Jungle Dwellers across the UK’s leisure and corporate agency networks, creating targeted trade events, and facilitating roadshows and FAM trips to showcase Jungle Dwellers’ offerings.

Headquartered in Nairobi, 100% locally owned Jungle Dwellers is renowned as the East African “holiday gurus”, designing unique travel packages and customised tours in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. The company owns its own fleet of custom safari vehicles and its guides, all Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association‑accredited (Bronze, Silver & Gold), are fluent in multiple languages. Jungle Dwellers creates personalised itineraries for every travel style, from solo and private safaris to groups, including yoga wellness safaris. With an emphasis on community and conservation, Jungle Dwellers strives to make a positive impact through tree planting initiatives and educational tours promoting environmental sustainability.

With The Perfections Group focused on sales and travel trade relations in the UK, Jungle Dwellers wants to convert Brittain’s growing appetite for authentic, experience‑led travel into bookings across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.

It’s an important market for East Africa. Residents of Great Britain made 25.3 million overseas trips and spent £13 billion in just Q2 2024, underlining the market’s value. The United Kingdom was Kenya’s number one European source market in 2024, delivering 180,639 visitors, making up nearly 27 % of all European arrivals.

“The UK is our single most important long‑haul market. Brits already rate Kenya and Tanzania among their top dream destinations and, with new airlift and a clear appetite for meaningful, experience‑led travel, the timing is perfect. Partnering with The Perfections Group gives us the local market intelligence and relationships we need to turn that demand into bookings,” says Boniface Waweru Karanja, Founder & CEO of Jungle Dwellers.

The Perfections Group’s Head of Country in the UK adds: “East Africa’s wildlife, culture and coastline have never been more accessible to UK travellers. Our team will leverage deep trade networks, targeted campaigns and increased air connectivity to ensure Jungle Dwellers is front‑of‑mind for agents and travellers seeking authentic, high‑touch itineraries.”
