Magical Kenya Travel Expo, MKTE 2022, Africa’s Flagship Trade Show Opens up Opportunities

Kenya has been awarded the world’s leading safari destination for seven years. Home to the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE), the Kenya Tourism Board is hosting the event, which is renowned as the flagship gathering of East Africa.

2022 brings back collaboration in Africa, which can help rebuild the continent. After a two-year break, key source markets across Africa and internationally are gearing up to rediscover the magic that travels in Africa can bring within the tourism industry.

It will be a hybrid show that is said to be a cost-effective and hassle-free 3-day event at the Bomas of Kenya Langata, Nairobi. Announced to take place from October 5 – 7, MKTE has been known to gather over 200 exhibitors, media, and global buyers across Africa and internationally.

You can expect B2B meetings, a networking event, and panel discussions with leading insights as an attendee. Their categories include transport; accommodation; destination marketing; tour operators, affiliated services, and technology providers. Register here

The networking event will be held at the Matbronze Art Gallery & Foundry, allowing you to gain exposure for your brand and rebuild or expand it. The targeted matchmaking program available at MKTE will enable you to start rebuilding alongside sponsorship opportunities.

The Bomas is a tourist attraction centre that promotes the cultural values that encourage Kenya’s economic development. It also houses a MICE facility known to welcome over 10 million visitors and bring exceptional experiences.
