RoomRaccoon Integrates with Cendyn to Bring Global Distribution Channels to Independent Hotels
RoomRaccoon, an all-in-one Hotel Management System, has announced a new integration with Cendyn. The two-way integration between RoomRaccoon and Cendyn’s Pegasus Central Reservation System (CRS) allows hotels to effortlessly distribute rates, availability and inventory (ARI) on powerful global distribution systems (GDS) to an audience of over 600,000 travel buyers in more than 120 markets worldwide, in addition to OTAs.
Integrating a Hotel Management System with a GDS is the best way to secure lucrative corporate and consortia business with industry-leading hotel representation and global sales programs. With the joint effort of RoomRaccoon and Cendyn, independent hotels can drive high-value GDS bookings to their property with an ADR (Average Daily Rate) up to 30-35% higher than average rates.
The integration is powered by World Hospitality Solutions (WHS) and provides seamless communication between RoomRaccoon and Cendyn so customers can automatically distribute their rates, inventory and availability from the RoomRaccoon Channel Manager to Pegasus CRS in real-time and avoid dealing with the complexities of a GDS extranet.
“Cendyn is excited to partner with RoomRaccoon as both companies share a passion for creating innovative, technology-enabled solutions that help hotels leverage their data and optimise revenue. This enhanced integration streamlines the data flow between Pegasus CRS and the RoomRaccoon PMS, which will allow hotels to make more informed pricing, demand and distribution decisions by removing the barrier between guest profile information, rates and inventory,” said Sarah Tissot, Vice President of Distribution & Partnerships at Cendyn.
Steven Reffin, Head of Partnerships at RoomRaccoon, shares: “We are excited to welcome Cendyn’s Pegasus CRS to our marketplace. With the resurgence of in-person events and businesses requiring employees to travel for trade shows, conferences, and networking events, there has never been a better time for independent hotels to tap into this market and maximise revenue.”
