Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique
LAM – Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique was created on the 14th of May 1980, under the terms of Decree nº 8/80 of the 19th of November, and assumed all rights and obligations resulting from acts or contracts performed or celebrated by its predecessor, the DETA – Air Transport Exploration Directorate – which has been in business since 1936.
LAM’s headquarters are located in Maputo. It currently employs 695 workers and has offices or other forms of representation in the country and abroad. It benefits from administrative and financial autonomy.
LAM’s mission is to transport passengers, cargo and mail by air on domestic, regional and intercontinental services, on a regular and non-regular basis, with maximum safety, adequate comfort and quality, which satisfy Customers.
