Lanzerac Hotel Proudly Surpasses the Tourism Grading Councils Five-Star Rating

The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa has recently renewed the coveted 5-Star Premium rating for the Lanzerac Hotel.

The Premium status was introduced by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa in 2019 when they saw the need to differentiate between excellence – and exceptional, world-class standards. So far, only 24 establishments have met the criteria, including Lanzerac Hotel.

General Manager, Emile Langenhoven, said that they were delighted with the renewed status which is only awarded to establishments that epitomize and exceed quality and service standards in the luxury hospitality segment. “The Lanzerac team and our loyal guests can feel justifiably proud of this achievement,” he added, “especially in the light of the fact that the Premium status is only awarded for one year. We are reassessed every year to see if we still exceed 5-star requirements across all areas and thus, qualify for 5-Star Premium status.”
