We are looking for a highly motivated luxury intermediate tour consultant to join our growing team. Candidates need to have a minimum of two-years Inbound consulting experience and a very good knowledge of Southern African products and services. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has excellent organisational skills, good time management and someone who can also work independently. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential, while offering high levels of professional service for luxury travel clientele is crucial. The role will be target and sales driven and will be office-based in the Southern Suburbs (Cape Town). We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate professional, who is prepared to take on a wide variety of roles as international travel grows again.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Proactive selling and quoting
Compiling and updating rate manuals
Gathering rates and contracts for services
Building proposals and packages
Managing provisional bookings and ensuring the bookings are released/confirmed in time without incurring penalties
Updating product information and images
Invoicing
Credit notes
Contacting clients (in general – not just while travelling)
Flight bookings
Updating financial forecasts
General admin
Supplier payments and procedures
Onboarding of suppliers and clients (Travelogic and WETU)
