Lodge Manager or Management Couple

Job Description

JD Specialized Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity at an isolated and intimate Tented Camp in Madagascar, for a LODGE MANAGER or MANAGEMENT COUPLE, who will take over the management of this delightful Camp.

Requirements
•Applicants should be young and dynamic, preferably with previous experience in remote lodge or camp management.
•Some spoken French would be highly advantageous.
•Clean Police Clearance Certificate is necessary to obtain a work visa.

Responsibilities
•Hosting guests, meet and greet on arrival, meals, campfire drinks, etc
•Organising activities with guides, planning and preparing activities and meals
•Maintenance of the Camp, ensuring any problems are resolved quickly, planning repairs and renovations with the maintenance team
•Stock management, ordering supplies from the capital and planning in advance for special requests.
•Accounts management of daily spending, salaries etc
•Vehicle maintenance, planning and repair for 6 Land Rovers and planning sub-hired vehicles.
•Staff Management and hiring for peak season.

Salary – On application / 1 flight home a year / health insurance
